NOW IS THE TIME . . . . . . . .
            SPRING CONFERENCE REGISTRATION!

I am looking forward to the Spring Conference which is set for April 10-13, 2010 at Tan-Tar-A Resort.  Some topics for the workshops include:  contest security, upgrading to turf fields, implementing student ambassador programs, inspiring our students, developing an academic progress program, and dealing with the loss of student-athlete.  The MSHSAA staff will also be in attendance to share their knowledge and answer questions as they relate to transfers and the updated website.  Not only will you receive professional development but there will be time to network, relax, and laugh.  American poet, e.e. cummings tells us “the most wasted of all days is one without laughter.” 
As part of your conference registration fees, each person receives a gift.  This year’s gift is a black brushed, tricot pullover jacket.  It has a ¼ zip neck, drawstring waistband and 2 front packets with zippers.  The MIAAA logo is embroidered on the upper left chest.  The jacket fits true to size.  Please remember to order your jacket size on the updated registration form and mail it to Dan Borkowski.  In order to guarantee your size, we need your registration no later than March 12, 2010.  If you have already mailed your registration, I ask that you contact Dan with your jacket size.
This winter has been a challenge and we have not completely escaped it yet but I hope you join me in my excitement for spring.  Remember to make your plans now to attend the MIAAA Spring Conference.
